I just made this a few days ago for my boyfriend, I normally don’t eat it because I don’t really like banana bread usually. THIS WAS SO GOOD. I added chocolate chips to it and and it came out PERFECT.

Thanks Laura, this is my fail proof banana bread recipe. This is the best and most effective way to make banana bread. Since I tried this I never considered another recipe. It comes out great everytime! My family loves banana bread, but I’ve failed so many times with other recipes. I had given up. I was determined to find the ultimate one and indeed I did. Thanks a million!

What if you dont have 3 ripe bananas or brown sugar? Is the brown sugar necessary? Can two bananas be used?

In reply to Liz. Thank you Liz! I recently refreshed this recipe with new photos and more helpful information, and must've accidentally missed that piece in the instructions. I fixed it - you add it in step 4 with the eggs and vanilla!
